Zevlin posses a quiet strength. He isn't much of talker, he is more of a thinker, an observer to his surroundings. Because of this he doesn't really make many real friends. The only people that he really opens up to is his large family. Zelvin is the oldest in a family of 8. Three younger sisters, two younger brothers, and his mother and father. He finds himself safe around them and feels he has no need to observe things, because most of his family is honest and open with their thoughts. Having said this, Zelvin does not trust easily. He keeps himself guarded and puts up a wall most of the time. It will take time for someone to really get pass his walls. Due to his past experiences. Zelvin has been betrayed many times and it has been an insecurity he holds with him. He is insecure on many levels of people skills in general. Even though he wishes so much to take down his own guard it doesn't seem to work, for he has become used to such traits about himself and his own way of living amongst the people in his district.
Zevlin Knight's biggest fear is the Hunger Games. He becomes a nervous wreck at the Reapings every year. By this, he doesn't speak, only frowns in terror of the possibilities. He is strong in his own way, by making himself look tough. He may not be good at anything related to a weapon but he is better with his hands. Many people may not believe he could kill another human being, but if it came down to his own survival or for one of his many siblings, he would most likely leave all other thoughts aside. Zevlin plans to keep his and his family's names away from being called at the reapings.
