Spark's mother of course played a role in his childhood. She was a constant negative influence, sometimes driving Spark to punch holes in walls. Sparks's mother was aggressive, rude, moody, and hateful. Things got worse for Spark when the only person that truly loved him, had to leave.
Instead of spending his days with his mother, Spark waits by his father's bedside, waiting for him to come back. When he's not there he is usually studying or working.
