Seeing You Again *Carta*

Sara had enjoyed the day hunting and exploring the bounds outside of the district. She had always loved it. She had wondered though, if now Carta being a Peacekeeper in training, that she might have to alter her activities. She grabbed her bag as she knew the reaping were last week and she was spared from the reaping this year.

She had just entered the district again when she heard a voice behind her. Sara looked down pausing as she walked over to the source of the voice. Seeing Carta she went to him. He had been gone for a few weeks and she made it to him and hugged him," Hey you"She said pausing as she looked at him.

She knew she wasn't supposed to be out of bounds, but its what she liked to do. To explore and to have fun. Not be tied down to unnecessary means. She saw the look that he might not be happy."Carta?"She said pausing.

"What is on your mind, not knowing that he had found out about her little periods of sneaking out of the district while he was away. They used to do it together before his acceptance to the Peacekeeper's training facilities.

Carta found Sara trekking in the backwoods of District 2, he had a feeling that's where he would find her. And here she was. Out of bounds. Carta hugged Sara back, she obviously noticed his slight unhappiness. She knew him too well.

“Well,” He looked back at her with a smirk, “you know how I feel about you out here alone, and according to your family, you've been doing this quite often.” Sara seemed to answer with a slight eye roll, Carta caught himself laughing. “Not that you can't whip someones butt if you wanted to.” He looked at her seriously now, “But really Sara, with reapings coming up, the Peacekeepers are getting jumpy. The training facility was crawling with new Peacekeepers...this isn't a good time to be putting yourself in danger, understand?” He gave her a quick kiss on the cheek for emphasis.

Sara looked at him and smiled alittle bit. "You know I can't help it. We used to do it together"She teased as they started to walk back to the house. She was staying in ...Well it was their house given to them by her father. But his family lived with her in it so she wouldn't be alone. "I hear your here for a while now"She said smiling as she hadn't been with Carta for around 2 months. She had really missed him. She walked with with her hand in his as they walked.

"I know I shouldn't go out alone. But who else would go out with me "She teased. "Before you went off, you were the only one who seamed remotely interested in going out with me ...She said as she had her bow over her shoulder now and arrow pack strapped to her back still. She stopped to take it off "Damnit "she said as she forgot to take it off as she had seen carta coming and she she wanted to get to him.

"I forgot to put it in the place"She said softly as luckily it was dusk out, and there were barely anyone on the streets at the moment. "Ive missed you so much. Your famileis been great. We celebrated your sisters birthday and yea"She said pausing as her birthday was in two days. But she knew he would remember but she wanted him to say it ...She was stubborn and a smart alick that way.

They reached the house and she put the bow and arrows in the cabinet and locked it. She had a lock on the door just incase someone came to investigate. Even though it would look suspicious if found. But she could explain it was from a training session. Sara looked at him. "I...."She paused wondering if she should tell him she had to take 15 tesseras out on herself because her father had lost his job and she needed alittle help for providing and he was away and he had to watch out for his own family. "I ..."She stoped. "Carta, I took 15 Tessera out while you were gone...Soemhow my father lost his job. I don't know if they saw me and this is punishmnet but I had to to help my family:"She said as she looked down.

She knew they were trained in the academy to deal with Reapings, but she hadn't needed to take one out until now. Becuase up till then they were a wealthy family with good standing with the Capital."We just have to hope for the best in a couple months"She said as that was when the 65th hunger games were to be starting.
