Jade buried her face into his shoulder. She stopped crying then looked up "yeah... it was a real hard time for me..." She said as her voice trailed off. She really missed her best friend. "oh god... I'm a mess" Jade said. "I should go get changed then let's go eat. So do you want to come with me then we go together for dinner or do you want to meet up there?" she asked him

Taylor frowned at Jade, "I'll come with you, I don't mind." Taylor didn't want to admit he had never been to the place before. He just gave her a quick smile before she spoke once more.

"Ok then" she said with a smile. They walked along the park until they got to the streets of District 2. They reached her house and Taylor's jaw dropped. Jade wasn't very surprised by his reaction since most of her friends did the exact same thing when they saw her house. It was around 6000 square feet a 4 story house. The outside was covered with wood. They entered the house and jade said. "Ok so i'm going to go get changed ill be back real quick. You can explore the house in the mean time"

Taylor nodded in amazement at the size of her house as she closed the door and headed up the stairs. He looked up the large staircase. It was so huge! His house had only been a two-story house near town. He thought it was rather nice considering the amount of care his mother put into keeping it clean and decorating it. That's all she did do, and every once in a while she would go out to work. Taylor started to walked through the house and ended up in a room with a nice sized TV and a plush leather couch. He raised his eyebrows and studied the little decors on a banister.

Jade ran up the stairs into her room. She pulled out a skirt and a shoulder sleeve shirt from her closet. The skirt was wavy, purple and blue it when almost to her knees. On her shirt there was a picture of a puppy with it's head titled to the side. She undid her braids and then brushed her hair. It was now sort of curly which Jade liked. She got her purse then headed down stairs. Jade didn't bother putting on make-up she only did that for very special occasions.

Taylor continued to roam through Jade's house until he found himself going in a circle. He was back by the large staircase. He heard footsteps and looked up to see Jade coming down with a purse in hand. She wore a skirt that hung just above her knee and as she made her way down he noticed a little puppy on the front of her shirt. His knitted eyebrows loosened as he spoke, "Your house is amazing."

"Thanks" Jade said as they headed out the door. "You should come over with your sister one day" Jade suggested. They walked for around half a mile then got to the restaurant. They were seated right away and they waited for there food to come. Jade had ordered some soup of some kind with a fancy name and some sprite. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant indeed.

Taylor glanced around the restaurant. It was nice and looked only some what familiar. He had ordered soup in a bread bowl. His favorite. A smiled crossed his face when he looked at Jade. Memories were still running through his mind, his expression shifted and he set his forearms on the table. "So do you go here a lot?"

"No not really. I go here more on special occasions. What about you?" Jade asked Taylor. She gazed in Taylor's eyes. The memories of her childhood just came back to life. The emotions that were far beyond being able to express. The sadness and the pain that we went through together.

Taylor responded to her gaze, looking into her eyes. "Never been here actually. But," His eyes danced around the restaurant. Something was familiar. Then it came to him. The name would have been the only thing he knew. "This was the place my father and mother went before they got married. I remember my mom telling me. But I never knew my dad." Taylor turned his head to see the waiter dropping off their food.

"Really?" Jade said with a surprising tone. "That's so awesome" When Jade heard that he never knew his dad her smile faded away and she said "oh.. I'm sorry to hear that." Before Taylor could say anything the waiter dropped of there food. She smiled at the waiter and said thank you. The food looked very appetizing. bonne appétit she said.

Taylor gave Jade a slight smile before digging into his soup. When he'd realized he had already eaten half the bowl, he remembered he hadn't eaten after training. Taylor was too caught up with his old friend. He slowed down a bit, so no one would notice his hunger.

When they were both finished eating there dinner and the waiter had cleaned up there dishes jade said "Do you want to have desert here or somewhere else?" Anyway she would be happy so it was up to Taylor. He thought for a second then said.

Taylor thought a moment. Then he had the perfect idea. "How about the Ice Cream Parlor down the street?" He remembered this place very well. It was his favorite - so many different flavors. When he was younger Taylor remembered taking Melanie there. He shook his head and looked at Jade.

"Sure sounds good to me" Said Jade, she was a pretty huge ice cream fan. They got up and Jade payed for the dinner and thanked them. The night wind hit them across the face and t was pretty cold outside. But that didn't matter, cold or not it was always the perfect time for ice cream. They were walking down the street when Taylor took hold on Jade's hand and interlocked his fingers in hers.
