~Lily Maria Watson~ It was a peaceful autumn afternoon when Lily was laying beneath a tree and leaves of all different colors were falling and the gentle breeze was whooshing them aside into a colorful pattern on the ground. She stared at the sky which was practically just leaves in her view but behind the leaves the sun was shining it's brightest. She just laid there in silence when the sky suddenly became over cast and it started raining. A light drizzle at first then it really started raining hard. Lily gathered her belongings which was her sketch book and some pencils and headed home. When she was within 10-20 meters from her house a stranger bumped into her making her lose her footing and she stumbled backwards. |

~Jade Fareheart~ Jade stood staring at a tree bow in hand and arrows over her back. She began grabbing the and shooting them as fast as possible. If she was picked for the hunger games she wanted to come out alive, and not in a box. Eventually Jade became lost in her firing until she felt a drop of rain land on her nose. It seamed to pull her out from her own little world. Looking around she was surprised to see that the sun was gone and it was starting to down poor. Frowning she quickly yet carefully pulled the arrows out from the trunk and put them back.
Turning Jade began to run wanting to get home before she was soaking wet. It had bean four years since her family was killed in the fire. And Jade was positive it wasn't natural. Her mother would have gotten out if it had bean. Like usual Jade fell back into her own world and didn't see the other girl and ran right into her. "Oh I am so sorry are you ok?" Jade was worried about her arrows that had gotten thrown all over the ground. She began to pick them up and examine them before putting them back in the bag. So much for getting home before she was soaking wet.

"Yeah, I'm fine" Said Lily while moving her bangs out of her eyes. She helped the girl recuperate her bows then handed them too her. The girl seemed a bit flustered about something but Lily couldn't quite tell what. She watched the girl as she examined her bows and put them back into her bag. Lily held out the hand then said "I'm Lily. And you are?"

Once all her arrows where collected and proven to be fine if a little dirty she let out a sigh of relief. She could easily afford to buy a new set but these had sentimental value to them. "I'm glad your ok I really am sorry. I just have allot on my mind. I'm Jade Fairheart nice to meet you Lily."
Jade wondered if Lily would recognize the last name. After all her mother was known by everyone in town before she was killed. How she hated living on her own it was so lonely and empty.
Giving her head a shake she sighed, "sorry I did it again. So why are you out here in the rain? I figured everyone else would have gotten inside before it started pouring like this."

"Hey Aren't you related to Miss Fairheart?" Lily managed to say before she started talking again. "Well you see I was on my way home from the park" Lily answered. "what about you?" she asked. By the way Jade gave a sigh of relief when her arrows were not damaged Lily could tell that they meant a huge deal in her life.

It happened, the girl recognized her last name. She chewed her bottom lip before nodding. "Yea she was my mother. Both my mom and my little sister where killed in the fire." Tears swelled up in her eyes as she talked about her family.She took a deep shuddering breath and whipped her eyes.
"I was out training, I go out every day to train with my bow and arrows. They belonged to my mother when she was a girl. I was out practicing that day when the fire happened." Even four years wasn't enough to dull the pain of losing her only family.

"I'm so sorry..." She said as her voice trailed off. "Cool!" Those arrows look real neat" She said. Lily wondered if she still had a father. It would of been horrible if she didn't considering that she had no one else left in her family. "well its really starting to rain" Said Lily."want to come over to my house and we can chat?" she asked Jade.
